Never use a device which has damaged or worn seals or one which contains leaks, defects or malfunctions. 2. Use only in a well-ventilated area. 3. Use safety glasses. 4. Do not refill, ignite or use device near a heater, furnace, open flame or combustible materials. 5. Do not touch the heated tip or tip housing of the device. 6. Never leave the device unattended while switched on or still hot. 7. Do not replace cap without switching device off and ensuring tip has cooled down. 8. Always be sure that the device has cooled down before storing. 9. Storage: In a safe, dry place far from heat sources and well out of reach of children. 10. Do not attempt to readjust or repair. Refuelling: 1. Make sure the Control Lever (B) is at "OFF" position before filling. 2. Turn the unit upside down and firmly push the butane can into the filling valve (A) the gas container should be filled in seconds. * Please allow a few minutes after filling for the gas to stabilise. Ignition (for use as a Soldering Iron): 1. Turn on the fuel by moving the control lever (B) to the right. 2. Ignite by pushing the ignition button upwards (C). You may see the tip housing window will grow orange after 1 or 2 seconds. 3. Adjust the intensity of heat by moving the control lever (B). 4. To turn off, slide the control lever (B) all the way to the left and push down the ignition button to off. Ignition (for use as a Heat Blower): 1. Remove the soldering tip. The catalytic heat chamber becomes a heat blower tip (D). 2. Ignite by pushing the ignition button (C). You may see the tip housing window will grow orange after 1 or 2 seconds. 3. Adjust the intensity of heat by moving the control lever (B). 4. To turn off, slide the control lever (B) all the way to the left and push down the ignition button to off. Ignition (for use as a Torch): 1. Remove the tip, unscrewing the knurled nut (E) and remove the catalytic heat chamber to torch function (F). 2. Ignite by pushing the ignition button (C). You may see the blue flame immediately. 3. Adjust the intensity of heat by moving the control lever (B). 4. To turn off, slide the control lever (B) all the way to the left and push down the ignition button to off.
